“Beautiful memories of our day”
We’re both extremely awkward about getting our photos taken but Stephanie put us at ease. My biggest concern was that our photographer would have us in poses that didn’t feel like us but she didn’t do that at all – it felt like she listened to us but also gave us great direction that means we have beautiful memories of our day. How much of the day do you cover?
I cover everything from intimate elopements, to full day storytelling of your morning preparations right the way through to the dance floor shenanigans! If you’re unsure which how much coverage you need, we can talk through your plans and create a custom proposal to best suit your lovely plans.
Do I need a second photographer?
If you are getting ready in separate locations and would like photos of you both getting ready in the morning a second photographer is the way to go. The second photographer can be there to capture the morning shots only or can stay until speeches. You may want a photographer to stay for a larger part of the day to capture more guests eg if you have a large wedding, or to provide photos from different angles during your ceremony.
How many photos will we receive?
It’s hard to specify an exact number as it depends on a few different factors such as how much time is spent travelling between venues and what package you book. That said there will be an absolute minimum of 600 photos for full day coverage, usually much more. Your wedding photographs will be delivered to you in a private, online gallery around 8 weeks after your wedding date, but I’ll send a few preview photos within 2 days of the wedding to keep you going!
We feel shy in front of the camera, what can we do?
I hear this from the majority of my couples – you are not alone. A practice run photo session before the wedding is a great idea to help you get used to having your photo taken. I also meet my couples over a coffee or a video call before their wedding to run through the timeline and get to know each other a bit better. This way when you see me on your wedding day I’m a familiar face and that often helps couples feel more at ease. You might also find this blog post helpful.
