Wicklow Wedding with a French Twist

Marion, a cool French gal, and John, a lovely Irish guy, met in a nightclub in Donegal called Paris – talk about fate! They wanted to honour their cultures, so they had a bilingual ceremony led by their fab celebrant, who switched seamlessly between French and English to keep everyone in the loop.

The ceremony was held outdoors, with the stunning Poulaphouca house as the backdrop. Marion wore a gorgeous plunge neck lace dress and carried a bouquet of colourful faux flowers that she had made all by herself! John looked sharp in a navy suit, and his smile said it all as he saw his gorgeous bride walk towards him.

After the ceremony, guests chilled out under the covered terrace, sipping drinks and soaking up the beautiful views. The reception was another bilingual affair, with delicious food and heartfelt speeches. I absolutely love the cool party room they have at Poulaphouca house for evening celebrations and Top of the pops band played through a killer tracklist that kept everyone on the dance floor late into the night.
